Before Your Treatment
5Avoid Blood ThinnersStop taking aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, fish oil, and other blood-thinning medications or supplements 7 days before your procedure to minimize bruising risk.
Avoid AlcoholRefrain from consuming alcoholic beverages for at least 48 hours before treatment as alcohol can increase bleeding and bruising.
Arrive with Clean FaceCome to your appointment with a clean face, free of makeup, lotions, or other skincare products to reduce infection risk.
After Your Treatment
12Avoid Touching/Massaging AreaDo not touch, press, or massage the treated area for at least 24 hours to prevent filler migration.
Sleep ElevatedSleep with your head elevated on 2-3 pillows the first night to reduce swelling.
Apply IceApply ice packs wrapped in cloth to the treated area for 10-15 minutes several times a day to reduce swelling and bruising.
